Poo the habit warrior
I have been meaning to be regular to my workout, lately
I have been terrible at missing out on pretext of something or the other every few days. Six months back me and current me a hugely different. I was an resilient and agile as a leopard back then, i am resilient still but with a body of poo the dragon warrior,🐼 .
Never the less, the best thing in me still is the will to rise from zero. I keep attempting to getting back to my regular schedule, and get beaten again and again. So in yet another attempt to restart my flow i started again yesterday.
I woke up at 8:20 am, my regular workout time is 8. So i clearly missed out on it again. But yesterday, it was different, it was not current me, which is like a poo before he became a dragon warrior, it was me the poo after he became the dragon warrior.
I thought for a second, and just like my old self, tossed some rules to the garbage bin. Wore my shoes and headed to my strength training class at 9. Its a terrible time I myself acknowledge the fact, give the temperature and the traffic during the time.
But its never a bad time to break a bad habit chain, I guess.
I forced myself into the class with sore thighs and calf's, for a legs training, and i knew the trainer at 9 is a fairly easy going one. Matter of fact i like the trainer who makes it a little more difficult and his classes are at 8, which i like to go.
However, thrown into deep water, i threw my hands and legs all guns. Result i was back to adapting it as fish does when thrown to water. My trainer came and specifically told me that i killed the days workout. I don't know how many more days i would keep feeling amazing just recalling the moment.
I still prefer going to 8 o'clock class, with the other trainer, perhaps my usual 8 o'clock cranking it up a notch left his work in the gym.
But this poo, has got back the taste of dumpling🥟 again, and i believe this time nothing is going to stop him from becoming the master of kung fu
