🌟 March Update of My Goals @2025 🌟

Time to report my progress


🎯 Personal Goals

  1. Don’t die or have near-death experiences
    ✅ No near-death experiences—major win! Work-from-home life has really helped here. Gratitude to my company and colleagues.

  2. Enjoy one solo dinner (dining out) every month
    ❌ No solo dinners, but did a couple of solo breakfasts. Want to be more intentional about this—it’s a promise to myself.

  3. Meditate for at least 10 minutes on 15 days/month
    ❌ Zero progress. Needs attention.

  4. Avoid writing to acquaintances under 6 months; write two letters to self
    ✅ Wrote a short one. Loved the experience. Holding back the floodgates for now.

  5. Take at least 5 photos weekly
    ❌ Zero effort here—but there's someone who might help fill my gallery soon 😉

  6. Weekly: 100 pushups, 100 situps, 15 mins of planks
    🔸 7 days of push-ups & planks.
    🔸 PB: 7:30 plank & 50 push-ups in one go.
    🔸 Need more discipline here.

  7. Limit cheat meals (samosa, biryani, gol gappas) to once/week
    ❌ No count, no excuses. Will do better.


🏋️‍♂️ Fitness Goals

  1. Gym at least 4 times/week (unless strenuous run)
    🔸 13/31 days
    🔸 Body fat ~18.2% (down from 19–20%)
    🔸 Body weight: 69.8 kg
    🔸 Muscle mass: 32 kg
    🔸 Eating better (less rice/wheat). Room to improve gym consistency.


🏃‍♂️ Running Goals

  1. Run 2 full marathons
    ✅ Mumbai Marathon: Done
    ✅ Bangalore: Registered
    🔜 Hyderabad: Planned
    ✨ First run reimbursements & supporting Dipansh’s study on music & running.

  2. Run 5 half marathons (target: 1:40)
    ✅ Seva Bharti @1:50
    ✅ Mindspace @2:01:49
    🔜 Farmhouse Run
    ⏳ Need to work on timing

  3. Run a 10K in 40 minutes
    ❌ Last full-effort 10K: 55 mins.
    🔸 Need a new routine by month-end.


📚 Hobby Goals

  1. Watch 1 movie weekly
    ❌ Zero movies. Movie gods, take me in.

  2. Bookmark book journey
    📖 Currently reading Osho - The Joy of Living Dangerously


🙏 Spiritual Goals

  1. Visit a temple once/month (scale to weekly)
    ❌ No visits yet.


💰 Financial Goals

  1. Exit stocks & move to mutual funds
    ✅ Sold: Bandhan Bank, Indigo Paints, PVR
    🔸 Holding onto Asian Paints for value/tax harvesting
    🔸 Subscribed to Akshat community & opened Vested account
    ✨ Planning smarter now.

  2. Invest in gold
    ❌ Not done—prices feel high, doesn't seem valuable now.


🤝 Social & Family Goals

  1. Invest in friendships
    🔸 Spoke to a few—more effort needed.

  2. Avoid Instagram forever
    ⚠️ Getting addictive—need intentional breaks.

  3. No forced/new one-sided connections
    ✅ Wonderful things unfolding naturally.

  4. Avoid physical appearance comments
    ✅ Doing great here.

  5. Call mom & sister 3 times/week
    🔸 Improving. Bell helps. Gratitude.

  6. Call inner circle monthly
    ⚠️ Not fully consistent—working on it.


💻 Professional Goals

  1. Be a kickass developer & grow GitHub forest
    ✅ Doing real work now. GitHub activity up. Let’s keep pushing.

  2. Launch BhumikVaru.com (portfolio + blog)
    ❌ No progress yet.


🌈 Milestones & Fun Challenges

  1. Ask people out without overthinking
    ✅ Nailed it. Well done, buddy!

  2. Take shirtless pics on beach & snow
    ⏳ Building up to it.

  3. Complete Proclaim Slam runs
    🔜 TCS 10K in 20 days—halfway to goal.

  4. Learn to drive a car
    ⏳ Still in plans—targeting this summer.

  5. Play with dogs whenever you can
    ✅ Always! 🐾

  6. Shave head & rock the bald look
    🔜 Rishikesh incoming.

    ❌ Not started.

    ✅ Doing great.

🎉 March Highlights

  • New job, meaningful contributions, great colleagues.

  • Running in summer heat—tough but proud of the effort.

  • On the way to getting paid to run.

  • Very close to finishing my vitamin d tablets.

  • Parenting two self watering plants, more on the way.
