C for Constitution

This is my third post in the A-Z blogging challenge.

The most important pillar on which a country is run is the Constitution. It defines the rules which govern a nation. But who makes the rules. It's us, humans, again. Who is the most powerful person in the country, it's the one who takes an oath on it to protect it by all means.

But we all imagine Constitution to be that spiritual guide that can tell right and wrong apart. But what we need to understand is, it is nothing more than a contract, whether written or non-written. It cannot always be correct, ethical, or fair, but it is the agreement we have, which would decide the right and the wrong side. That's the document that decides how all the games would be played in a nation.

Similar to Constitution, our other expectation from life is for it to be fair. We want our rewards proportional to our efforts. We want everyone to have a fair chance of succeeding. We expect always good things to happen to good people.

And whenever things don't go according to our whims and fantasy, we arrive at the same junction complaining that "life is not fair".

But was life ever fully fair, and were the rules ever completely ethical? And who is the one who decides right and wrong?

How many times have we kept blaming life for being unfair, instead of taking responsibility for whatever is happening to us? Have we not seen the most hardworking person receiving the least rewards. Have we not seen the most honest person being conned in the worst possible way. Have we not seen the most deserving person being repeatedly deprived of the results he obviously deserved.

I feel I have been treated unfairly by life on many occasions. Right from the ability to concentrate on early education, the educational track that I was forced to pick, to the college, to the career, and to parents who probably loved my sibling much more than they did me.

Why do we still keep sitting expecting life to treat our fare, and give us whatever we deserve? Why are we still caught in the game of rights and wrongs, where nobody ever is completely ethical.

Life is anything but fare, learning the rules and playing according to them is the best bet we have for it.

I am no longer going to sit hand in hand expecting life to treat me well. I have decided to claim back all from life, the things I deserve, and the others that I manage to do on top of it. Because life was, is, or ever will be "fare". We have the read and understand the unwritten constitution of life to play and get the results that we want, rather than wait for the results that we feel we deserve.

Let me know of some deserving things, that life didn't let you have, in the comments below.

  1. Everything you are trying to get, that is right for you or not, life tests 1st and after confirming you are ready to get that thing, then only you get.
Policy of life is simple for all. It doesn't change like constitution of any country. Mankind is creating or making any policies for their benefit and that can give benefits to some persons or group of people partially, not to everyone equally.

you blogged nicely on sensational topic.
